When Sandra and I set out to find a builder for our retirement home in the Hill Country, we checked with some friends and real-estate people in the area. Danny Bezet, owner of Danco Builders, kept coming up with high praise.

We met with Danny and visited some of his projects that were at different stages of completion; we liked what we saw. Quality building and products at a valued price, his ability to listen to our concerns and his mission to work on our behalf was what we were looking for in a builder.

Danny worked with us during the planning process and was helpful when working with a designer to head off costly or wasteful construction practices. He was always available to answer questions and meet with us to discuss issues. Danny kept us informed and offered options to design and/or material, Danny made the building process enjoyable. Danny’s time schedule for building our house was aggressive, he delivered on time.

This was not our first home building project, Sandra and I have previously acted as the contractor on our first retirement home, personally remolded homes. We also have a few horror stories of unscrupulous contractors we have delt with in the past.
Sandra has been in the real-estate business and has seen many homes and I build quality furniture and have had home construction experience.

I feel that we could not have built the home Danny built for us any more economically, within the time frame, with the quality of products than what Danny did for us and we made a friend.

My wife didn't want to leave our children, our grandchildren, or her Dad, all living in Houston, where we grew up and spent the last 60 years of our life.  This was my dream, not hers.  To retire in the Hill Country - oh yeah!  It wasn't even time to retire - but a medical event triggered an early exit and a jump start to the move.  At least we managed to sell in Houston, just before the 2008 market crash - still, we were somewhat unprepared for the move, and ended up evicted from 2 lease/foreclosures in San Antonio while we tried to get our retirement home completed.  

First the wrong plan, then the wrong builder, then the wrong architect, then the price we couldn't afford and then - start all over - so much stress - we came very close to giving up - more than once.  But then, along came Danco, or Danny Bezet to be more specific, and everything began to move in the right direction.  I know I'm not an easy client, tend to be something of a perfectionist, and have a definite and unyielding idea of what I want.  Still, Danny was able to work through the difficulties with me, and help me understand a lot about homebuilding that I didn't know.  

 When I became frustrated that one, of a thousand details, had slipped - his constant and genuine response was "what can I do to make you happy?"  That is the attitude that distinguishes a custom builder, and the sincerity with which it is spoken is what creates credibility.  Danny's integrity as a builder is without question.  Did I mention that he built our home in 120 days - on time and exactly on budget - and I've seen him do it now - four times in a row, unbelievable - six to ten months is the industry norm.  In this case, not only did we save big on the interim construction financing, but we were going to be on-the-street, quite literally - if he didn't finish on time.   

And did I also mention that he cut no corners, built a quality home with quality materials, and he did it all - without tricks - just plain hard work.    Now that we've moved into this beautiful home, my wife is claiming it as her dream too - and I'm so happy - she's happy, and all thanks to our hero - Danny Bezet.

When we decided to build our hill country home near Center Point, we knew it would be a challenge to find the right builder to fit our needs. We had built before, and the process had us a bit concerned because the previous experience had been less then desirable. After interviewing builders, we decided to go with Danco Builders. Both of us immediately recognized Danny’s enthusiasm and knowledge, and how personal he was toward out project. We knew he was the builder for us!  From the beginning Danny was included in the architectural meetings, providing suggestions on design and materials.

Since the land was undeveloped, he was extremely valuable during the preconstruction phase involving roads, fences, water well, and electricity.  Once construction started, Danny and his subcontractors were always available for consultations, updates, and changes. Most importantly, they were on site everyday.

Building our home was a smooth and enjoyable process thanks to Danny’s expertise in his field and our confidence in him. He was able to build our house at a rapid pace because he literally orchestrated a hands-on building process. Thanks to Danco Builders we now we have our new home to share with family and friends for many years to come.

Raydell, my wife, and I were finally ready to build our dream home in the Texas hill country. We knew there were several builders in the area but we had a budget to meet regarding price.  After a few interviews, somebody recommended Danco builders.   We met with Danny Bezet and found him to be very personable, polite and professional.  We agreed to go with Danny and within about four months, our beautiful home was finished. It was a great experience because Danny was there at the jobsite all the time; he was at every meeting we had to pick out appliances, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, flooring etc.  It really made us at ease.  

We had the custom home we wanted but at several dollars per square foot less than others would have charged but by no means did we sacrifice quality.  We truly got the "biggest bang for our buck."

We recently moved our family over five hundred miles to Boerne, Texas. What could have been an ordeal in finding a new home turned out to be a pleasure when we chose Danco Builders as our homebuilder. It took Danco Builders less than 120 days from start to finish to complete our new home. On an almost daily basis, owner Danny Bezet made certain that we were kept informed on every aspect of our home’s status. At all times, Danny made us feel like we were his most important clients. Even after closing, Danny continues to contact us regarding any issues with our new home. For instance, after moving in, we found a couple of areas in our home that needed either minor paint touch-ups or adjustments. We contacted Danny and he had them fixed almost immediately. His workers were always courteous, punctual, and thorough. There is no doubt who will be our homebuilder in the future: Danco Builders, of course.

When we were still just dreaming, we found our perfect house plan and held onto it for ten years until we were finally ready to build in 2005. We chose Danco Builders because of owner Danny Bezet's experience, fair pricing, and good reputation in the community. 

We then took that "perfect" plan and promptly decided to increase the square footage, add extra doors & cabinets here and there, and put in a carport.  Danny was patient through it all, offering his guidance and support.  He was always readily available for questions or concerns and took the time to explain any aspects of the building process we didn't understand.
